I knew Cav very well when I was at Northolt, a true legend who will be greatly missed. I am sorry I had only just heard. My condolences to all the family
From infants, through juniors, secondary and beyond to Latics away days it has been a privilege to know Mario. Always smiling and staying positive through life's ups and downs, leaving a great impression on everybody he met (my children often asked about Mario after only briefly meeting him).
Rest in Peace Mario. You will never be far from my thoughts.
Thoughts go out to all your family and friends at this sad time! You were our 'sprog' at Brize and then joined me at Bruggen! Great times! Will raise a glass of German beer for you tonight! Was a pleasure to know you Cav! R.I.P
Cav,
That you, such an amazing person, have been taken so soon from your family, loved ones and friends is truly a tragedy.
We last worked together in Afghanistan in 2011 when you were still in uniform and through your uncanny ability to make sh*t happen, you managed to get the Passenger Handling Facility moved ahead of schedule to a new location on the other side of the airfield. The following week a rocket attack saw one of the missiles go through the roof of the old facility on what would have been a busy night packed with passengers and staff. I remember you shrugging off the praise from the Chain of Command as if it was nothing, you were just doing your job...heroically in this case, just like the amazing fight you have put in over the last few years.
Gone but never forgotten buddy. Matt x
Just by being yourself you had such a positive impact on my life. Knowing you for nearly 30 years has been an honour. So many good times, I will always miss you pal. Steedy
Tomorrow my love, we say goodbye but not farewell. You are my everything, my reason for living. I don't know how I will get through the day, but I know you will be by my side, holding my hand and my heart ️
"Goodbyes are not forever,
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean Ill miss you,
Until we meet again."

I feel sad that I never really met you Mario but through Traceys words I feel I knew an incredibly special man and one who was so deeply loved.
You are now in another very special place with only the best, the most deeply loved, special people
We served together over many years, the last was the last time I saw you, at Northolt. I don't think we parted on what could be classed as good terms, I was going through some stuff & I took it out on those around me... Hindsight is a marvellous gift. I wish we had seen each other one more time at least. All the best
So many tours together, so much fun, so many good times, but more importantly you were there for me during my greatest time of need. You gave me strength, hope and love during the darkest of days. I will forever be in your debt.
God bless you pal and I have no doubt that one day we will meet again.
